inches, with locally higher amounts on favored aspects.

* WHERE...Northwest San Juan Mountains, Southwest San Juan
Mountains, Gore and Elk Mountains/Central Mountain Valleys, Grand
and Battlement Mesas, and West Elk and Sawatch Mountains.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM MST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning and evening
commutes.

night, as low as 15 below Saturday night, and as low as 22 below
Sunday night.

* WHERE...The eastern plains each night, including Fort Morgan,
Julesburg, Akron and Limon.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM MST Monday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 22 below zero
could cause frostbite on exposed skin in 30 minutes or less.

Information:
Unsheltered people will have a high risk of frostbite and
hypothermia. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and
neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly.

Livestock and pets will be vulnerable to the cold, so ensure adequate
sheltering during this extended period of cold weather. Make sure
outdoor animals have a warm and dry shelter, food, and unfrozen
water.
