...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Kansas...

Ninnescah River near Belle Plaine affecting Sumner County.

Ninnescah River near Peck affecting Sedgwick and Sumner Counties.

Ninnescah South Fork near Murdock affecting Kingman County.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ninnescah River near Peck.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, The north approach of the river bridge is
flooded. Flood waters begin to spread to a width of 1 mile along
the north bank.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 20.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this evening and continue falling to 5.9 feet early
Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

Information:
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't
drown.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Kansas...

Cowskin Creek At Wichita At 119th Street affecting Sedgwick
County.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Cowskin Creek at Wichita At 119th Street.

* WHEN...Until late this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Flood waters backup into residential yards
southeast of river gage site along Lost Creek Circle and southeast
of Central and Karren Streets. Flood waters begin to creep over
13th street in the low water spot about a half mile west of 119th
Street. Expect typical flooding of low water crossings and low
cropland areas as well as fields near the creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 18.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early this morning and continue falling to 7.5 feet early
Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
